Dr. Sarah Boyle, C. Psych (she/her)

Dr. Boyle is in the final phases of supervised practice in Ontario and in the process of completing her registration in PEI.

Dr. Boyle completed her Master’s and Ph.D. at the University of Guelph’s Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program. Before that she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from UPEI. Her research focused on personal strengths and how these relate to mental health and illness. She has spent 8 years providing mental health services to children, youth and their parents in various settings in Ontario, including Waterloo Region District School Board, Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre, and Starling Community Services. Dr. Boyle recently completed her 12-month CPA-accredited pre-doctoral residency at Child and Youth Mental Health in Victoria, BC. She has experience working with moderate to severe mental health concerns.

Dr. Boyle is experienced in complex psychological and psychodiagnostic assessments including assessment for autism spectrum disorder. She has a background in various therapeutic approaches including attachment-based approaches, play therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), interpersonal process therapy (IPT) and other diverse modalities. She uses an integrative and trauma-informed therapeutic approach that is focused on the unique needs of each individual she works with. Dr. Boyle has experience working with people from diverse backgrounds with intersectional identities and is passionate about providing evidence-and strength-focused support to those she works with.
